911 Windshield Install

Finally got the new windshield installed in the '69 911T. This was actually a pretty easy job, more so than expected. You simply install the seal on the windshield, then run a strong but thin cord through the channel on the back of the seal where it seats onto the body and cross the two ends of the cord at the top center of the windshield. The windshield is then laid on the opening of the car with the cord hanging inside the car. You then pull the cord into the car, working around the perimeter of the windshield. The cord pulls the seal onto the channel in the body.
