TR7 Rescue

We found this 1980 Triumph TR7 roadster for sale locally. When we looked at it in person, we realized it was a great British classic that needed to be saved. The seller had owned it for several years, but decided he needed one less project in the driveway.
The engine ran great but the car wasn't drivable because the clutch release fork was disconnected from the gearbox. This had happened when the seller was trying to install a clutch slave cylinder. Fixing it meant we had to remove the transmission from the car, which was a couple of afternoons of work.
Once the clutch was fixed, the car drove down the road fine... with a few hiccups. There is an exhaust leak that needs to be fixed, as well as some back firing from the engine.
Next up is converting the white and silver (and very dingy looking) interior to black and a thorough detailing...
